Study aim: "This study was conducted to assess the tissue-specific bioaccumulation potential, especially in the liver, and the effect of fish size on HBCDs bioaccumulation by monitoring HBCDs in the tissues of crucian carp collected from three major rivers in Korea. Furthermore, the field-based biota-sediment accumulation factor (BSAF) and bioconcentration factor (BCF) values were calculated from the results of this study."
