Study aim: "The objectives of this study were to ascertain the residues of 18 PCB congeners, 6 dichloro-diphenyl-trichloroethane (DDT) metabolites, and 4 hexachlorocyclohexane (HCH) isomers in surface sediments along the Mid-Western coast of Korea, and to understand the accumulation characteristics of these organochlorine pollutants in Manila clams collected from the study areas."
