Study aim: "In the current study, lethal (e.g. mortality) and sub-lethal (e.g. growth) effects of sediment-associated UCM to two benthic invertebrates (Chironomus dilutus and Lumbriculus variegatus) were examined. Additionally, the impact of UCM on the bioavailability of PAHs in sediment was also evaluated using L. variegatus bioaccumulation testing and Tenax extraction."
