Study aim: "Therefore, the aim of this study is (1) to quantify HCHs and DDTs in sediment-dwelling mollusk and crab animals which are dominant species in the study area, (2) to probe the factors which influence the accumulation of contaminants and (3) to determine the biota-sediment accumulation factors (BSAFs) for their bioavailabilities in the Yangtze estuarine and tidal ecosystem."
